The Richest Man In Babylon

Gold Bullion

Hello and welcome to my Financial Planning blog which was inspired by the book “The Richest Man In Babylon” by George S. Clason. I read this book for the 1st time as teenager in the eighties. It has become one of the most influential books in my life and one I most often recommend to people looking to get a better understanding of wealth creation. I especially recommend young people to read this book so they can get a head-start in wealth creation.

The topics that will be covered in this blog will be the same as the “Seven Cures For a Lean Purse” as covered in the book:

“The First Cure- Start thy purse to fattening”— (Savings)

“The Second Cure-Control thy expenditures”—(Budgeting)

“The third Cure- Make thy gold multiply” —- (Investing)

“The Fourth Cure- Guard thy treasure from loss” ( Financial Planning Advice From Experts)

“The Fifth Cure-Make thy dwelling a profitable investment” (Homeownership)

“The Sixth Cure-Insure a Future Income”  (Life Insurance)

“The Seventh Cure- Increase thy ability to earn” ( Self Improvement, Entrepreneurship)

I hope the information and resources you find here will help you on your path to wealth and financial independence.

Live Joyously,
